Accessibility statement

Loftstyle GmbH wants its website to be usable by everyone, whatever their abilities. This statement applies to the website loftstyle-hotels.de with the pages of the LOFTSTYLE Hotel Hannover and the LOFTSTYLE Hotel Gerlingen in German and English.

Conformance status

The website is partially conformant with the requirements of the standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as required by the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and its ordinance (BFSGV). The deviations are listed under “Content that is not accessible”.

How the website is accessible

  • Every page can be used with the keyboard alone; the focus is always visible, and a “Skip to content” link leads straight to the main content.
  • Headings, navigation areas and forms are marked up so that screen readers can structure the page. Every form field has a visible label, and errors are named in the text.
  • Text and controls meet the required contrast. Images with content have a text alternative.
  • Animations are switched off when your device is set to “reduce motion”.
  • With “Accessibility” (at the bottom of the screen, in the menu and in the footer) you can enlarge the text, switch on high contrast, turn off animations, underline all links and choose a more readable font. Your settings stay saved in your browser.
  • The website is available in German and English; every page states its language.

Content that is not accessible

  • Booking: rooms are booked on external booking pages: for Hannover via onepagebooking (HotelNetSolutions), for Gerlingen via bestwestern.de, day-use rooms via dayuse.de. We have no influence on their accessibility. You can always book by phone or email with the hotel instead (contact below).
  • Maps: the Google maps on the directions and contact pages can only be used to a limited extent with screen readers. The address and directions are given as text beside them.
  • PDF documents: the guest folder of the hotel in Gerlingen and the breakfast poster have not been checked for accessibility. The hotel will give you the information on request.
  • Graphics: some room and seating plans of the meeting rooms, mainly in Gerlingen, show capacities only as an image. The hotel will be happy to tell you the figures.
  • Image descriptions: not every photo has a detailed description yet; we are adding them continuously.
  • Google reviews: the texts come from Google and appear in the language of their authors or in Google’s translation.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 29 October 2026. It is based on a self-assessment: automated tests with axe-core and Lighthouse on representative pages (home page, hotel start pages, rooms, conference inquiry, each in German and English) and a keyboard test. We review the statement with every major change to the website, at least once a year.
